- Take your resting heart rate for 30 seconds by placing two fingers on your neck as shown below. It often easiest to look at a wall clock to do this or you can have your partner time you. Double that number (heart rate is in beats per MINUTE) and record it.
- Jog on the spot for 30 seconds then take your heart rate again for 30 seconds. Double it and record it again.
