Module 5 – Reaching New Customers
In this course you’ve:
– Created your business page
– Made videos for your products and posts
– Learned how to make covers and images in minutes
– Built a bot and communicated with your followers via FB messenger, not to mention started to build your messenger following
– Created an email collection tool and provided exceptional value to your customers.
Lastly, we are going to cover how to get NEW people into your world, or as it’s called in marketing, your funnel. Your funnel is the process of getting people into your world, providing value, and eventually, getting the sale.
But where are these people? On Facebook, which has 2.07 billion monthly active Facebook users (as of Nov 2017).
How do you reach them, though? Facebook Groups work but there are rules which often prohibit continual (or any) selling. There’s your Facebook Business Page but that only lets you reach 1-2% (higher for video posts) of your audience.
What you need to use are Facebook Ads. With Facebook Ads, you have the ability to reach new customers at a very reasonable price. You can run a campaign for as little as $5 a day and reach far more people than Google Adwords or any other platform.
However, the power of Facebook ads lies in their targeting. Inside Facebook, you can display ads to as specific a group as you can imagine. If you want to target women, 30-35 years old who like goldfish and monster truck rallies, no problem. If you want to target women, aged 30-50 who teach grade 6, easy! You can even upload your email list and target those people only or exclude them from seeing the ad. These campaigns will bring in new customers daily and substantially increase your business.
Before you start adding up the costs in your head, think about this. In the long run, how much revenue will EACH of your customers generate? $5? $10? $100? Over the course of two to three years of communication with your list, each subscriber should bring in an average of $20-$30 at least. $1 per new lead doesn’t seem so bad anymore does it?
Now Facebook Ads are a scary topic for many and frankly, there’s so much I could say that we need an entire course for it, but for the sake of this course, I’m simply going to show you:
1) The strategy to employ to create a successful campaign
2) The best way to set up your ad
3) How to target the right people
4) How to create your image and copy
5) What to do after you’ve run your ad.
